As a Grammy award-winning record producer, songwriter, vocal producer, musician and mixer hailing from Los Angeles, Benjamin’s musical journey has been a fusion of creativity, dedication, and diverse collaborations. Combined with a background as a U.S. Army veteran, Benjamin brings resilience, precision, and a unique perspective to his craft.
Benjamin’s portfolio includes a stellar lineup of artists, including icons like Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Julia Michaels, John Legend, and James Bay.
Notable highlights from his career have included his collaborations with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper on the Grammy-winning A Star Is Born - Soundtrack (2018) where Benjamin served as album producer, vocal producer and engineer for the entire project, including co-producing the chart-topping and Grammy-winning sensation, “Shallow, ” which also won an Oscar for Best Original Song. Benjamin continued working with Lady Gaga on her Grammy nominated 6th studio album, Chromatica (2020), where he once again served as vocal producer, engineer and mixer, including the Billboard #1 Song, “Rain on Me”, featuring Ariana Grande. In 2022, Benjamin co-produced Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” for Top Gun: Maverick (2022) which earned Benjamin his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song.
Most recently, Benjamin teamed up with songwriting icon Julia Michaels where he co-wrote and produced the entire soundtrack for Disney’s 100th Anniversary Feature Film, Wish (2023), also serving as an engineer, vocal producer, mixer, vocalist and a musician for the project.
Benjamin’s diverse experience and interests have continued to grow, leading him to bands such as Dead Poet Society, where he produced multiple songs on their sophomore album, Fission (2024), including “Running In Circles,” “Hurt,” and “Uto.”
Proving that his musical spirit is unconfined, Benjamin has also lent additional production and mixing for the folk-pop sounds of Wild Rivers on songs such as “Thinking ‘Bout Love - feat. Wrabel,” as well as the band’s latest single, “Cave", which will be included on their highly-anticipated forthcoming studio album mixed by Benjamin.
Whether collaborating with stars like Lady Gaga, crafting original songs for Disney, or working with a variety of bands, Benjamin continues to embrace new challenges and opportunities to build his career based on relationships, trust, and the goal of bringing the best out of artists.
